REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!

Summer Camp 2026:

Learning Disabilities Association of York-Simcoe's SUMMER CAMP is designed for Children with a diagnosis of Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD

Learning social skills should be fun and that’s exactly what this program is all about!

Our Skills Buildres Adventure Camp  helps children ages 8–12 build confidence, friendships, and communication skills through playful, hands-on activities and exciting group experiences.

With the guidance of our friendly social coaches, children practice important skills like, making friends, handling teasing, being a good team member, managing big emotions, solving problems, anti-anxiety tools, social skills and building self-esteem. Through games, role-playing, and teamwork, kids learn skills they can use every day, while having a great time.

Our program is led by Social Work Professionals and is based on the trusted PEERS® social skills curriculum, helping children learn practical tools for real-life social situations.

Every week brings a new adventure theme from magical discoveries and STEM challenges to zoo explorations and more! These creative themes keep kids curious, engaged, and excited to come back each week.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Children will also enjoy activities like:

  • 🌿 Nature walks and outdoor exploration

  • 🎨 Arts and crafts projects

  • ⚽ Sports and active games

  • 🏊 Some locations offer outdoor swimming and water fun*

Each day is packed with laughter, creativity, and opportunities to grow.
