- Social Skills Program (Winter 2026) NEW LOCATION!!!! MARKHAM!!!
This co-ed program is designed for children ages 8 to 12 with a primary diagnosis of a Learning Disability and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It focuses on the development of social skills in a fun and interactive format. Our trained social coaches work with participants on a variety of social skills, using activities that engage and motivate. The program is facilitated by registered social service workers, and its content is based on the evidence-based PEERS® curriculum for social skills training.
Topics Covered:
- Interpersonal skills. i.e. communication, listening, friendship skills
- Cooping with emotions and stress
- Conflict resolution and problem solving
- Self advocacy skills
- Self Esteem
- Bullying and cyberbullying topics
Two loctaions available, Richmond Hill and Markham!! This program is currently been FULLY SUBSIDIZED!!
